When I set my Replay to record I then turn it off, but then as I watch TV
and flick channels it's recording what I am watching and not the program I
set it up for.

What have I done wrong

I guess you must be changing the channel on a device (like a VCR,
cable box, or satellite receiver) providing input to the Replay. Why
are you expecting it to tune 2 channels at once?

Normally, you need to let the Replay control the device, and use
something else for watching independantly of the Replay (I have
DirecTV, and have 2 receivers for that purpose).

How do you have it hooked up? If you have the output of your cable box
(for instance), to the input of the Replay, then whatever channel the
cable box is on is what's going to be recorded on the Replay.

Sounds like you have it cabled wrong - or at least you can't do what
you're trying to do with the cabling as it is.

Is it:
Cable box - RTV - TV?

If so, and you're changing channels on the cable box, the RTV is going
to record what the box is tuned to.

Describe how you have it cabled - sequence and type of connection
(S-Video vs RCA vs RF).

I fixed my problem. I just had to do a Factory Reset. Now it seems to
have been fixed.
