The title / core idea do not really mean much: these top-end smartphones are under-utilized, so adding more cpu power is useless and makes zero difference to the users.

It will help with emulation, if you are running emulators from your phone more speed is always better. Doesn't mean zilch on the Iphone however as they locked their store to emulators...

Re. emulation, may you share the source or other that shows that current high-end smartphones are maxed out or that emulation will work better with more powerful CPUs?

In other words, do you have any tangible point supporting this claim?

How will the x50, based on a 10nm structure, be compatible with a 7nm 855? Am I missing something?
