Here is the plan... stash an ipaq in your pocket and put one of the HP
video/ still SD cameras in your hat with a cable going to the ipaq... as you
gaze the camera follows, it is hands free as well! But... does this cable
exist out there?

thanks ed sharpe archivist for smecc

You want a cable from a free-floating SD socket to an SD card ???

Cool ideal - a small spy cam for the ppc. Could also be mounted to
telescopes, etc for grabbing images in the field.

I do not know of such a cable, but if the distance could be kept short ...

(You know, a bad sd card could be notched for the flat cable to lie in and
exit out the rear, simple connections, hmm)

Interesting, ed.

yes from the sd socket on the ppc to the card edge on the camera!

length has to go from my pocket to the camera in my hat or hidden where ever
I wanted to... I suppose you could have the lens peek out of a button hole
too...

remember the cable would have to have some shielding due to the bandwidth
of the signal....

Hey - even better ! How about a cellphone with a camera (common) but
*this* phone can broadcast over bluetooth to local devices - I bet
nobody's ever thought of that before ;-))

Reckon Nokia will pay me fo the idea ? (Thinks : "Fat Chance!" LOL)

Cheers - Neil
