Hi,
I am using Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 laptop. Can we power up this one without battery and only on AC adapter main power??
Recently my battery got dead and I am not able to start it on main power to use it without battery. Please help.

Hi,

The answer is yes you can. I actually have a laptop that runs only with it's AC adapter for years now with no problem. If it doesn't turn on remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Plug just the AC adapter back in and see if it turns on with no problem.
