Solution
Probably for a big chunk of money to Samsung. 90% of the cost of that TV is the curved 4K screen. Not easy and cheap to make yet. Odd's are it's going to cost almost as much as a new one.
Then the actual led panel is broken and that, as I said is going to cost. There is no magic fix for this. It's nothing you can go buy on Amazon. It's probably only going to be available from Samsung and they won't even sell you one, you will have to send in your TV with a big chunk of money and get a new one.

Sir, was this issue resolved?

Its a pity the Government is not using Goods and Consumer act and is not taking these manufactures seriously.

The manufacturers are manufacturing faulty design led tv's which are fragile and the internal screen can be damaged very easily. The technician advised the internal screen could be damaged with a piece of rubber or even a pen.

And then the manufacturer fleece the customers to pay 80% of the product (Cost Internal Screen/Panel) to replace internal display!!!???

IMAGINE A PART THAT COSTS 80% OF THE PRODUCT COST DOES NOT COME UNDER WARRANTY!!! Is this a JOKE!

This is definitely cheating!!

Don't remember the earlier TV's having these issues. This issue is common with lakhs of customers fallen pray to this issue called "Internal Panel Cracked and hence is a Physical Damage" its all over the internet.

We do have Gorilla Glass and many other technologies today but some manufacturers are shying away from it to make a quick few bugs. Why Can't Manufacturers move forward to reliable technologies?

Why would anyone damage their brand new full hd led tv's, the one bought with hard earned money!?

Hope someone moves court against such manufactures. Can't fool and take your customers for a ride.

Fluxotic, don't post in old threads for one. And for two, they broke their screen, how is the goods and consumer act going to help anything. You buy something made of glass, and then put a fist/toy/barbell/whatever through it, that's your fault. Take care of your stuff. Including PC, TV, phone and tablet screens in my house, we have probably over 25-30 screens. Guess how many are broken? None because we take care of them.

Closing thread, this was resolved a long time ago.
