Hi I have a Lenovo laptop and the @ button won't work how can I solve this?

My laptop's @ button won't work and as a result I can't email and have to do it through my Lenovo tablet. What's happening?

Broken keyboard? Does the 2 work normally and just the @ is not working? See if your keyboard language setting is set to what it should be for the laptop you are using. You can also try removing the keyboard from device manager and have the system load it again at boot.
