hi i need help with my acer computer. it has this white dotted line across my computer and i don't know what to do. when plugging the computer to the television its all fine and normal. Is it because of the cable?

Your laptop screen is damaged. When you use the cable the laptop graphics processor sends the pictures to the television ... as opposed to the internal laptop screen.
