Hi. My dad owns a asus and he stated he was backing out of a tab when it froze, so he turned it off and back on again only for the screen to be completely black. The logo doesnt even appear it's just completely black. The power light does come on indicating it is on but like i said its completely black. So do any of you know what the problem might be or how to fix it?

Looks like either the motherboard or the graphic card is gone, what cpu and motherboard does your dad have?

Are you speaking about a laptop? If so, try hard resetting it by holding the power button.
