High Quality Text with HitFilm 2?

I've been assigned to create a short 30 second PSA. I decided to use HitFilm 2 to create the PSA. I added some text and thats when i noticed that the text quality was TERRIBLE.
I exported the video and the text on there was also terrible.
I changed the video quality so it should be around 1080p, but still no good.
How do i make high quality Text/videos?

Is the result the same regardless of which font you use?
"Sans serifs = good
Serifs = not good
Scripts = awful"
