Hello,
I bought a pioneer VSX522 receiver to replace a tuner/preamp that drives a poweramp. I set it up and sound came through the power amp to the speakers for the auto calibration test. but now i cant get any sound output. i tried different sources, and changed the preout menu, but still no sound even with the volume all the way up.

It may be that you have to go through the input setup. You need to assign the connection and connection type to the input that you want to use. You can check this by trying the radio and see if you get sound (this is internal and doesn't need setup).
Make sure you have an antenna connected.
