Hijacked search engine choice in many browsers

None of the answers I have seen on the Web have worked for me so far. Yahoo is staying on certain browsers like Firefox, IE, and Chrome because even when I delete Yahoo as a choice it returns.

Make sure you scan your computer with software like malwarebytes, and make sure to clear anything that seems suspect in the extensions part of your browser. If that doesn't fix it, i may suggest re-installing the software but that can be a pain sometimes.
