Question Hisense TV turns off with any remote button

My daughter has a 43 inch Hisense Roku LCD TV. The tv will turn on with the remote but if you try pressing any button (home, back, down, etc.) the tv powers off. You can manually cycle through options and change inputs with the button on the tv itself. I have a 32 inch tv identical to hers and I took my remote into her room and it works fine. I took her remote and it does the same thing to my tv. Any ideas? (And yes I have replaced the batteries lol)

Check with the manual if there is a reset for the remote (it may be too simple for that). If not, contact Hisense for a replacement or find one on eBay.

Hi, my reply may be too late. But I had this exact same problem, the power button was pushed in too far so you have to pop it out.
