Solved! Hitachi Letters WIFI code

Bought a Hitachi smart TV... can't find the way to input text for WIFI code, remote only allows numbers ... no pop up keyboard

My guess is that it is expecting to use WPS for WIFI and that is to allow you to type in a PIN. If that is true, then you could enable WPS, connect the TV then disable WPS again (since WPS is a security risk).
