Home cinema and Amazon fire stick

Hi, I have recently bought am Amazon fire stick and I'm struggling to get it to play sound through my home cinema. I have tried some of the advice on the forums but no luck yet.

I have a Sony tv (kdl 40v3000), a humax box (hdr Fox t2) and a Sony home cinema system (dav is10). Can anybody give me a set up that will have the sound output from all sources through the home cinema.

Connect humax box, firestick, and HTS (for disc playback) to TV with HDMI.
Connect the digital audio output of the TV to the HTS (for audio on humax and firestick). You may have to turn the optical out on and the TV speakers off in the TV audio menu. You may have to set the TV audio out type to get surround sound.
