home theater sound not working while playing through my LG led USB mode

Team,
I connected my LG LED and my home theater with my DTH and its working fine. But when i playing movies through USB port of T.V no sound is coming from home theater . Please help me in solving this issue

Your TV and home theater need to support ARC, or audio return channel, which allows the TV to send audio back to the receiver over HDMI. Both devices must support it and you need an HDMI cable that supports it. Without any model numbers, it's impossible to tell you anything. LG makes hundreds of TV's.
