Onkyo does not have hdmi connection and want to connect it to HD TV with DVD player and Wii game console

Since you don't have HDMI on the receiver you should connect the DVD and Wii to the TV and connect the audio out of the TV to the receiver. Your other option is to take the audio out of the DVD and Wii and feed them to the receiver directly leaving the HDMI connections to the TV for picture.
If you need the on screen display of the receiver connect the video out to the TV just for that.
