How to hook up a Samsung 4k smart TV to my Onkyo audio video receiver for surround sound. I bought the AV cord hooked it up right, but still no sound.

If both TV and Onkyo are ARC capable (consult the manuals) then hook up both HDMI ARC designated ports, go into both menus and be sure to enable ARC, and you are good to go.

If not, you need a Toslink between Tv and Onkyo.
