Yes you can. Very simple
Connect your antenna to the RF input of the box.
If the TV has a built in tuner then connect the RF output of the box to the TV antenna input. Select over the air and run a channel scan. You now have two over the air tuners and you can record on program on the box and watch another on the TV tuner at the same time. It is possible that one of the tuners will get more channels than the other.
Connect the HDMI output of the box to an HDMI input of the TV. No need to use the ARC input but you can if you want or need to.
