Hotspot Isnt Working

i have a asus laptop for gaming and i used to use the mobile hotspot on it using the wifi for internet on my phone since the school doesnt give out wifi to people on their phoens and it randomly stopped working, i have changed the name multiple times, and ive turned itt on and off and changed the password, changed what GHz thing its on from 2.4 to 5 and back to 2.5 but nothing has changed its been over like 4 months

Can you still create a hotspot from your phone? Can you connect any other device to it? It's possible your carrier no longer allows, or you've been in breach of a hotspot "rule" that's in the fine print.
