Let me be a little more specific. I am currently looking at the Surface Book as my personal computing solution. It feels great all around, and has plenty of use for productivity. That being said, I am a gamer at heart. While I know I don't plan on playing AAA games (I have a gaming rig at home for that), I would like to play light to moderately demanding games (I.E. Overwatch, League, For Honor). I've seen some gaming benchmarks and was left pretty impressed by the performance. I'm waiting for the SB2 (rumoured in April), since it will likely have a Kaby Lake i7 CPU (I'm sure still a U series), and something between either a 1050 or 1050 Ti (leaning closer to the Ti since it currently holds the same TDP requirements of the 965M). My question is, if I'm sitting and playing for 3-4 hours, is there a chance that the computer will be hit with thermal throttling? And if so, how bad of a performance hit would the Surface Book be experiencing? I tried looking at the Zenbook 3 and RBS, since they both currently have Kaby Lake processors - but no one really speaks about the thermal throttling during games.
Thanks!
