How can control/change my touch pad settings??

sir iam using an asus laptop in win 7,it seems to have less touch sensitivity on the ouch pad. can i increase its sensitivity?????
pls help me

You will need the Synaptics driver. If you have installed, open it, and you should have settings to fiddle with there. If you are having problems getting your touchpad to respond to touching it- then that will be most likely a hardware related issue.
