How can I download apps from google play to sd card directly on an LG phone?

My phone can't download any apps because of "insufficient storage" I inserted an SD Card and tried to download apps but it still says the same thing. How can I directly download it on my SD Card? I have an LG Leon LTE

Unfortunately, that isn't possible. Android no longer natively supports the running of apps from SD cards. You cannot download apps to your SD card or run them off of your SD card with official versions of Android. The only way to get around that is to root your device, which will void your warranty.
