How can I download pictures from my old Motorola flip phone to my desktop computer

I have old photos on my old Motorola flip phone that no longer has service. I need to download pix but nothing happens when I plug my usb cord (which is attached to the phone) into the computer. Can anyone help me?

You may need to download and install drivers for your phone. Do a web search for your exact model and how to connect it to a computer.

Download the Motorola Device Manager

Install the drivers.

Plug in your phone using the USB cable

Go to SETTINGS AND TOOLS on your phone

Scroll down to “USB Mode” click OK

Set USB Mode as MODEM click OK

Go back to SETTINGS AND TOOLS and select TOOLS

Scroll down to USB Mass Storage and click OK

Your computer should recognize that an USB mass storage device has been connected to your computer.

On your computer go to MY COMPUTER and you should see your phone connected under the Devices with Removable Storage heading. Click on the icon for your phone and it should open up with a list of files and directories.
