How can I find an IP address of a stolen machine that was connected to my android hotspot?

You can't. It really doesn't work that way unless you had an app like Lojack for Laptops installed BEFORE the loss.

You can't. All you can do is make a police report. Provide the serial number. Your hotspot may have the MAC address, but that is not always physically visible on a laptop.
