How can i find an old password used on Explorer

Hello, please how can i find a gmail password used on my computer months ago? i used the save my password option and it would log me in automatically before but now after i did a routine restart, explorer cant log me in anymore. it keeps asking me for the password. i checked the password directory but i still couldn't find it. it doesnt even list the email on the list of saved passwords. Any help getting the password back?
