How can I get photos etc from SIM card of old phone to new phone e ?

I have a new phone. Before this one I had a Galaxy S5. How can I get photos etc off of the Galaxy S5 onto my new phone ?

The SIM card does not have photos in it. All you need to do is sync the old phone to cloud storage like Google Photos. You can also copy the files to an SD card or copy them to a computer using a USB cable.

If you don't have backups of the files, they are gone.
