How can I move everything FROM my sd card on to my cell phone?

I want to clean my old microSD card off, but I need to save what's on it (just pictures). So not wanting to format....I have a Samsung Galaxy Captivate. I tried to connect via usb to load the pics on my computer but it doesn't connect for some reason...Help??

Connecting your smartphone to your computer should automaticly activate the USB recognition and start the download of the program from the cell phone vendor.

Have you activated developer mode and USB Debugging? Go to your phone setting and see whether developer mode is activated or not. Try downloading KIES and see if it can detect your phone or not.

Most probably, USB Debugging was not turned on.
