I purchased a new sim card on Ebay and would like to know how I can verify that the number on the card is good.

They often aren't transferable.

Swappa has a imei/esn checker for free.

Thanks this is a sim card I am trying to verify so the number on it is different than an esn or imdi number.

Ah, good point. Contact your provider. But when I tried this they wouldn't swap it over to my friend.
