everytime i come here and hyas been this way for 15~20yrs but i always get taken to tomshardware.uk often time shows up as tomshardware.com but also alot of times shows up as tomshardware.uk

They're basically interchangeable.

If someone has a link in their post for foo.co.uk, you click on it, then that tab in your browser will stay on co.uk, and show you the same things.
