how come my laptop sound won't play through my westington house tv but it will through my vizio

Toshiba windows ten HDMI. Wierd that it plays sound through my vizio but not my westington house yet I can hook another device up to the westington house and that plays sound. Realy weird...Any clue why the sound is not transfering through the hdmi but the picture is. It only happens on my toshiba

Sometimes the driver wants you to manually select your audio device, my laptop is like that, no big deal. Click the little speaker and the drop down should say send audio to hdmi device.
