how do get that @botten to work on a gate way compter

there's numbers than there's the@ botton with a 2 on it

Hold down shift and press 2; you should get the @.

If this doesn't work, hold down shift and press 3. If you get the '#' character, then there is just something wrong with your two key. There are still ways to get the @ into certain apps that allow the use of codes; what apps do you need it in?
