How do I connect a regular receiver to a Bose Accoustimass 25 series 2 speaker

I have a bose Acooustimass 25 series 2 Speaker system which currently is being run by the receiver that came with the system ... dilema is that the receiver has died and I would still like to use the speaker system with another receiver. It has the woofer that the 5 twin cube speakers are all hooked into and there is another cable (wire harness) that runs from the woofer to the receiver with a red and white RCA Jack and then another wire that hooks up into the system control connector on the back of the bose receiver also. So if i plug the red and white rca connectors into the back of my alternate stereo receiver what do i do with the system control wire that is presently plugges into the back of the bose receiver????

you need to take the speakers apart and rewire them with regular 2 wire connections. The system is built that way to prevent you from using other manufacturers parts.
