How do I connect hdmi capable cpu to a monitor

I have Raspberri Pi. I have to connect it to monitor using HDMI cable. But my monitor doesn't support any other cable except VGA. But CPU support HDMI cable. So I connect HDMI from RPi to CPU and CPU is connected to monitor.

Now how do I display the Raspberry Pi in the monitor ?
