How do i connect it to my yahmaha model # rx-v377 for surrond sound

I can't get any volume in the surround sound .how can I hook it up to get surround sound

Not enough information to help you.
To what and how is the receiver connected?
Do you get stereo but not surround sound? Check the surround mode it's on and that the content and source are surround sound.
Did you connect an FM antenna to the receiver and do you get sound on the radio? If not then the receiver has a problem.
Did you set up the receiver as per the owners manual? Did all the speakers work when the levels were set?
