How do I connect my rca headphones to an LG smart tv that has only hdmi out available for auidio-

I have a wireless headphone set that has an rca connection. It works fine via the fios top box but if I watch a tv program directly from the smart tv such as hulu or neflix the headphones are not functional as they only transmit what is on the fios box. If the fiox box is turned off then nothing goes to the headphones which is as it should be. My LG smart tv doesl not have an rca fitting for audio out, it has an optical out for audio and an hdmi out for aludio. So, what do I need to do to make this headphone work directly from the tv?
