how do I connect my Sony wireless earphones to my Samsung TV via Direct TV ?

How do I "plug in" my wireless Sony earphones to a Samsung Smart TV via Direct TV provider?
This worked FINE until the other evening when the table was accidently turned over and the "wire connections" were totally dis-attached. Thanks for anyone's helps WHO KNOWS...I am NOT a "computer/techy" kind of guy

Whatever type of transmitter the Sony headphones came with it would connect to the audio or headphone out on the TV or the DTV box.
