I have surround speakers and i want to connect them to my TV.
My TV is equip with. audio/video input

you need to say which jacks, on which TV.
But if it's RCA jacks, you need an amp between the jack and the speaker.
The speaker does not connect to a RCA jack. You have to use an amplifier inbetween.

The adapter mentioned above is the opposite of what you need. It converts speaker to line level. An amp would be required to do the reverse as soundguruman says.
You could try connecting the speakers to the headphone jack if your TV has one.

You MUST have an amp, between the audio outputs and the speakers.
The adapter is a JOKE. It will accomplish NOTHING.
Drbueler: you are lost and confused.

The adapter will work if you have active speakers. For example KRK Rokit 8's like I have.
Question is if the surround speakers the OP has were powered or not.

What active speakers take speaker wire but not RCA?

Well, Drbueler is correct somewhat in asking if the speakers are powered or not but you don't need the adapter(if somebody needs one, just take some speaker and add rca plugs to the end of it, cheaper, no adapter required)
