How do I connect speaker wires to the audio jacks in my TV

Hello,
My house came with wiring for four speakers hanging around the room. In the past I was able to stick the wires in my stereo and have "surround" sound. Now I want to hook these speakers to our big screen TV but the TV only has holes to plug cords into-not like the holes with black and red clips for the speakers on my stereo. How do I prepare the speaker wire for plugging into the TV?

u will need to get a receiver to connect the wires. then connect ure tv and receiver together.

Those TV audio output jacks are low level outputs. They need to go into an amplifier before they can drive speakers.
