yes to my Lenovo when i try the traditional method from Pictures it says photos not found. Are they not on my iphone?

OK, so you are trying to get the photos from your phone to the laptop. If you just try to sync the phone using iTunes the default is to copy the photos from your computer to the phone. If you want to copy the photos to the computer (instead of just having them on cloud storage) you can use the Windows programs for that https/support.apple.com/en-us/ht201302#importpc
