How do I get back all my Microsoft Office files on Windows 7 that were lost when I upgraded to windows 10

I took a free upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. Now, I cannot find any of my Microsoft Office files I had in Windows 7. Where are they???? I was not informed that this would happen when I took the free upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10. I need my old files back!!

It should be under the windows.old folder in your c drive.

1. If you selected "Keep everything", it should have done that. It did on all of my systems that have been Upgraded.
2. Otherwise, possibly look in Windows.old
3. This is what backups are for
