Go buy a cheap universal remote.

On old TVs you could use the channel down button to access the av input when you go below channel 2.

Used an old direct tv remote. Apparently you can do so with it it.

This is really late for an answer. But push the Menu button on the TV, push Volume Up, then the Game Mode menu comes up. Select On.
