How do I get sound from my PC using a reciever and TV

I have the following :

High-end PC using Nvidia 1080ti card
Marantz NR1607 receiver
LG 55"OLED E7 TV

Before I used to connect my receiver direct to my PC via the HDMI slot on the video card and worked perfectly. Since the Nvidia card only has one HDMI slot for the TV I have had to remove the cable from the receiver. Nvidia card has 1 HDMI and 3 DP slots.

I have connected the receiver directly to the TV (HDMI/ARC port 2 ) and same to the receiver, but I get no sound when using HDMI (1) TV connected to the PC.

Before I buy a HDMI to DP Adapter is there any way I can connect the receiver to the TV, then when using HDMI 1 so I can use my PC and have sound ?

An option would be using an optical cable from tv to receiver, if optical available on tv.
Theoretically, pc - HDMI - tv - HDMI ARC - receiver should work, if output sound set to HDMI ARC on tv and to HDMI on pc.
