how do i hook my vizio smart tv to my radio

I'm trying to hook my TV to my radio.My tTVsays audio but the wires aren't the same. So what do I do?

Are you trying to get the TV sound to play on your "radio" speakers? Your TV probably has an optical audio output ( a sort of square hole with a cover with nothing protruding from the TV) and the "radio", if it has an input it is probably 2 RCA jacks.
You would need on of these:
http/www.parts-express.com/parts-express-dac-digital-to-analog-converter-%2851-compatible%29--180-999
and the optical and RCA audio cable to get it working. Your TV volume control will not affect the volume from the "radio" so if it doesn't have a remote it might be inconvenient.
