How do I install an SSD in a Laptop

I am planning on buying this SSD from Crucial's website. I will install it in my HP ENVY 2014
"Crucial BX200 240GB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD"

I want to know what is included with SSDs usually do I need to buy some wires or something to connect the new SSD to the laptop during the Cloning process. I'm kinda confused.

Hi,

Not all SSD will come with a software that you can use for cloning once you've installed the SSD. With a Samsung Evo SSD mine did come with a disc you can use to clone the HDD to the SSD.

Will the SSD i showed in the link provided include everything I need to install the new SSD and clone my old Hard Drive ?
also Im no too worried about the actual installing of the SSD in the laptop im more concerned with the part before the installation the setup

most new laptop have a restore partion on the hard drive check with the vendor to see if you can make a recoverable usb stick. if you can then back up your personla files to the cloud or onto a large usb stick. install the ssd and run the recovery. then move your file back onto the ssd. also for a small fee get a set of restore cd from hp.

does not have to be usb as can also be dvd to make recovery disk.
