How do i play movie files that have extensions .avi.001, ...

As far as i know,these kind of files aren't part by part,i mean its not only avi.001,its got avi 002,003 etc to,you have to join them in a archive with a program called hjsplit (http/www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/ )
