How do I restore the apps from SD after updating smartphone

I had transfer the apps to SD before updating the smartphone and after updating I put SD card to mobile how should restore transferred apps

It doesn't work like that. The Apps are fired by files folders which are part of the Android system and all you "transferred" to the SD card is probably the shortcut from your screen.

Using the same Google ID, you wlil be able to get them again, possibly without paying a second time.
