How do i track my lost sony vaio

I lost my laptop at school and i want to see if i can track it

How do you LOSE a laptop at school? Go back to the class you left it in? There's not really any way to "track" your laptop unless it had some kind of tracking device stuck onto it (That you would know was there).

If you have one with the 3g modem built in (don't think sony makes these, only know of HP and i think acer, could be wrong) then you could probably go to the service provider (verizon?) and see if they can find it, some companies offer this sort of service (sprint does at least)

You would need tracking software installed like Lojack and you would know if you paid for it and installed it on your computer. Otherwise there is no way to track it.
