How do I transfer Pictures to Picturer Project using Windows 10? I use a D40 Camera.

I just started using Windows 10, when I try to download my pictures it will not go into Picture Project automatic like it did with Windows 7. How do I resolve this problem?

The link below is to the software page for the D40 on Nikon's site. I did not see Picture Project listed but there may be something there that may help.

"IMPORTANT NOTICE: Picture Project has been discontinued. We now offer View NX 2 as the transfer utility and image browser for all of our digital camera products to easily transfer, view, catalog, label, and organize your images.
