How do I unlock my Toshiba (I have the password)

I am not sure how to phrase this properly. I want my Toshiba laptop to stop asking me for a password every time I open it up. This laptop never leaves my house and I frequently need to use it for quick stuff. Thereby, using my password 30 times a day drives me batty. I have the password and I am using the laptop now. How do I "unlock" this thing? Please and thank you.
