how do I upgrade cross dj 3.0

The version I have i the pro version with video mixing support. I got this program as a gift on my pc. I can still use it even if I dont upgrade. Everytime I try yo upgrade it opens chrome in a new window and says access denied. I saw the free version upgrade on the mixvibes site, but Im afraid I wont be able to use it as the pro version

Is chrome your default browser? If yes, try changing the default to another browser and see if that helps with the "access denied" error.

Yes my default was Chrome and I changed it to Internet Explorer and receive the same error. They said I had to pay for the upgrade

I saw that the upgrade is $69 and should have known it wouldn't be a free upgrade for existing users.
